Neat question you ask. Mind or Intuition.
As far as I can see there are different answers on different levels.
I suppose the ultimate is to just go with what is.
I have found that if *I* make a choice then it comes from the old –
so no evolving. Of course this needs some courage – for who knows what will happen!
Need to get: choiclessness is not apathetic.
Needs presence – then let happen what seems to need to happen.
I think the ego can think it is influencing an outcome,
and in one way, it is – but it may be that the influence is temporary
and eventually whatever needed to happen will happen anyway.
Could be that Free Will is an illusion.
I have just been attempting to share with someone about watching.
To try and explain the unexplainable I came up with:
Imagine:
There is – The Source.
The Watcher
The Automatic Behavior.
At the source there is only – The Source. One.
In the middle is a conscious feeling of
preferring things to be a certain way.
In the automatic behavior level there is the
Ego/Will/Attempted Control/Interference.
Watching, is just that – watching.
It watches not only the being choice-less, but also the choices.
It just does not get in the way, and unconditionally includes – everything.
The Automatic Behavior – interferes – all the time – in everything.
And constantly messes up, then complains.
Lots of complaint, and very little appreciative gratefulness.
Somewhere, we are always awake to what is appropriate.
We usually only say yes if it is what our *old self* thinks it wants.
