Here is a suggestion with which you can experiment.
Take some time, and try it.
Just for a little while, disconnect from the past.
Keep your awareness just in this very moment. Just be here now.
Do you see? – everything is wonderful!
All of your misery is based in the mindful past – which the mind projects
into an imagined future.
Does not work because you are in physical pain? Well it can – for sure.
Disconnect from anything, except the pain. Go right into it – deeper and
deeper. It will go – until the mind tells you it is gone – then it is back –
because you referred to the past. Physical, emotional and mental pain is
generated in the brain – not the event. Try it.
Dear Friend, you say you are happy you are not alone in this world.
That is what we are attempting to encourage on IML – people coming
together who thought they were alone – because they act/feel/think
differently from the majority.
The majority are asleep to the fact that they are asleep.
When we wake up to the fact that we are awake, we are an example.
Just as an experimental concept – see everyone as brothers and sisters.
And I mean everyone.
