The way I am seeing things at the moment is – we are
all self-centred – just a matter of how, and degree.
Whatever we do, say, think, it is all based on who and
how we are. Again, of course.
The difference about how we are with this is our awareness
of ourselves and our behaviour.
So whatever we do, say, or think comes from the way our
brain has been conditioned. What is normal for one person
may be taboo for another.
Now when I say all of us, I do mean all of us.
Our behaviour is based on ourselves.
Even if we are devoting our lives on being available for helping
other people, it is because that is what feels most appropriate,
what we feel most comfortable with – for us.
Nothing wrong with this of course (or wrong with anything)
just, the more aware we are, the more responsible we are,
and thus feeling fulfilled.
Might be a good perspective experiment?
For a short time at least, just imagine –
everything seems to be about you.
